Join us for a workshop with Brooklyn designer, Jessica Franks, using both wet and dry felting techniques to create a flat felt picture suitable for display or incorporation into a larger work. Jessica is a trained graphic designer and has been creating a series of 2D flat felt works using these same techniques. Learn how to make a flat felt sheet from wool roving, how to create detailed designs and patterns with felting needles, and take home a unique piece of felt. All materials included with registration fee. Class limit: 15.
